Trade Show Event Branded bike race for tradeshow event

 

2009 | Mashup in Vegas

We were asked to creates a bike race that would show off Ericsson's mobile mashup interface.

We created a race dubbed, Mashup in Vegas, that was a combination of road course and reality TV.

Utilizing the Ericsson technology suite we produced and officiated the race in real time for broadcast at the CTIA convention.

The race last three days and took the cyclist through the streets of Summerlin west of Las Vegas.

Participants were scored by taking their course time and subtracting time for success  at waypoint challenges along the course.

The event was displayed on a 10 by 15 foot screen above the Ericsson Pavilion to attract and engage convention attendees.  The event was also streamed live to the web for global internal participation and marketing.

The demonstration help lead to HTC's adoption of the technology for the Tour de France.
